Schedule of Events

4:00 PM - RVs to arrive.

- Track open to set up campsites.
6:00 PM - Team Captain meeting at Welcome Tent
6:00 PM - Registration begins for Survivors at Survivor Reception Tent

7:00 PM – Celebration Ceremony

Read ‘in honor’ names

Team lap

Survivor/Caregiver Reception (for Cancer Survivors and caregivers only)

7:45 pm – Balloon Release

8:00 PM – 9:55 – Time to finish setting up campsites: preparing food, games, etc. Music provided by DJ

8:30 pm – Start handing out door prize tickets – will be given out for showing Relay

Spirit, having Cancer Education Information at your campsite and walking laps.

9:50 – 1^st announcement for luminaria ceremony

9:55 – 2^nd announcement for luminaria ceremony

10:00 PM – Remembrance Ceremony
a) Announcement will be made that ceremony is about to begin
b) Ceremonial lighting of luminaries with Bagpipe Player making one full lap
c) Invocation
d) Reading of names begins
e) Invitation to make the silent laps

11:30 – door prize drawing begins  - winning numbers will be posted next to stage – new number will be called if not claimed after 60 minutes.

12:00 – Cake eating contest – two person teams, one feeds the other – not as easy as it sounds!!

- Silent Auction Starts

1:00 am – Start decorating boxes for Race to Recovery

2:00 am – Start Race to Recovery!

3:15 am – Football Throw – teams will test their football throwing skills, there will be elimination rounds and last team standing wins!

3:45 am – Human Bingo

6:00 am - Awards

6:30 AM Closing Words followed by Fight Back Ceremony
